My name is Sandra Roberts-Anderson. I received a BFA in Art/Photography at CSUN in 1972 and an MFA in Photography through an extended program at the Museum of Art in S.F. in 1979.

I worked for the premiere E6 photo processing lab in Hollywood, CA. for 7 years, serving the worlds top High Fashion photographers, most of whom I got to know very well and would be the only one allowed to take a test strip, judge it, and decide how long to process the balance of the film for optimal results. I have a very sensitive color vision.

The photographers I worked with on a daily basis were Greg Gorman, Matthew Ralston, Herb Ritts, Nancy Rica Schiff, Annie Leibovitz, Henry Diltz, Bruce Weber, Gilles Bensimon of Elle Magazine, Larry Williams and too many more to name. It was an exciting time. I’d get to see the film before even the photographer! I was learning every day; one of the owners, Ish, had really taken me under his wing and continually provided me with new learning experiences. It all had a positive influence on business, as the photographers gave me more and more of their confidence. I became friends with several of them, attending their parties and birthdays.

After that, I went to work as a script supervisor in the Hollywood film business, until sidelined by a severe illness.

I dedicate this website, full of the best I can do, to my most wonderful children, Janis, Christopher, Carly, my son-in-law, son of my heart, Clay, my grand-daughter, Amelia Étoile, around whom my universe revolves, and my darling husband, Jack.
