About My Photography
Photography, for me, is a way of sharing my vision of the world with others.
I have always wanted to take control of the colors in my photographs. Back in the days of film only, I did this by hand coloring black & white photographs, a process I still love. Now, with digital , I can play with the colors more outrageously, and more subtly, than I ever could with the hand color process.
I look on the world as a rich mosaic of color, tone on tone, hue on hue, subtle difference on subtle difference; and yet, I want more. I want to possess the ability to rearrange the color schemes of nature. I want to create my own, my exotic, garden. That’s part of what you’ll find here.
Aside from the color enhanced photos, you’ll find seascapes, landscapes, and black & white photographs that started life as color photos…some, in fact, are both color and black & white in one. Enjoy this aspect of my photography.

I dedicate this website to my children, the entire reason for my existence, Janis, Christopher, Carly, my son-in-law (son of my heart) Clay, my grand-daughter, Amelia Étoile, around whom my universe revolves, and my darling, dearly beloved husband, Jack.
